Antioxidant Potential of Chloranthus erectus (Chloranthaceae) from various solvents extract

Chloranthus erectus is a herbaceous plant that has been used as medicinal in several regions such China and Southeast Asia. Although it possesses valuable properties, till now there not much research carried out on the properties of this knowledge limited among fertility. Therefore, study aimed to identify phytochemicals, total phenolic content (TPC), antioxidant activity leaf twig C. various solvents extract (hexane, petroleum ether, chloroform, ethyl acetate, methanol). Phytochemical screening extracts showed presence alkaloids, flavonoids, terpenoids, saponins, quinones, glycosides, steroids. The highest for samples was determined from methanolic (9.64 ± 0.15 µg GAE/g) hexanoic (7.39 0.27 GAE/g), respectively. Meanwhile, reported both (88.36 0.24%) (91.25 0.10%) samples. Hence, results can be concluded potential become good natural information utilized by communities well other researchers.
